Outlet help
Greeting all. New to this site and my first post/question. Not new to the rv world but I have traded up to a 2021 Salem Hemisphere 24rlhl. I am having an issue with 2 electrical outlets located under my kitchen cabinets. I have no power to them. There are 2 push button lights located next to them and they do work. I have checked the fuses and they are fine. I unhooked from shore power thinking perhaps something had lost its mind and they might reset. No go. I cannot get into the dealer for at least 2 months, so I thought someone might have a clue to what may be the issue. Sorry for rambling.

Did you look for the GFCI outlet to reset?

Hello and welcome, what do those push button lights turn on and off?
typically your kitchen outlets are GFCI protected. There should be one in the kitchen and perhaps in the bathroom also. Check to see if they are tripped.
120 v outlets will most likely be on breakers rather than on fuses. check to see if any of those are tripped. Even if they don't appear tripped, turn each one off, then back on to reset them.

Are you seeing any voltage there? Hot to neutral, hot to ground and neutral to ground. Are any other 120 volt loads giving you grief?

The buttons turn on and off the lights. They are round lights with a button in the middle. I flipped every breaker I could find.

Unfortunately I forgot to transfer my voltage tester to the new trailer. I do need where I have it stored and check out and see if I get any voltage at all. And no, no other issues with power, just those 2 outlets. Thanks for the input people!

There has to be at least one, usually in the bathroom.

And there lies the problem. By the NEC (National Electrical Code) there has to be GFCI outlets in the bathroom and the kitchen. I doubt a new TT would not meet the code.
They are probably there, you just don't see them. They are on a circuit with only one outlet that has actual buttons that trip the whole circuit if the current exceeds 5mA. 5mA is the amperage that will cause your heart to possibly stop beating. All outlets near a water source will be on a CFCI circuit.
It is possible that the actual breaker in the panel is a GFCI breaker and has a button to reset on the breaker.

Just a note here the two push button lights that do work are 12v DC. The electrical outlets are 120v AC. Two completely different circuits. As others have said, the likely cause is the GFCI outlet that is tripped that you have yet to find.

Exactly ^^^^^^^
Check REALLY carefully at the faceplate of the bathroom electrical outlet.
It is usually the GFCI that controls any outlets near water.....bathroom, kitchen outlets and possibly outdoor outlets.

Could the GFCI possibly be on the outside outlet?

According to the 360 view on the Hemisphere Hyper Lite 24RLHL web page there is one in the bathroom to the right just above the sink.

Agreed GFCI is probably the most likely culprit. There are probably a number of outlets in places you dont think Maybe check outside or in storage, being the microwave or refrigerator.
Looking online at the 2021 Salem Hemisphere 24rlhl there is a GFCI at the bathroom faucet, but OP says his is not.

The GFCI outlet is almost never labeled on the faceplate, only the daisy chained outlets. Some GFCI outlets have a LED which lights up when tripped, others do not, some GFCI outlets have the reset button pop out when tripped, others do not. You have to look close. Also, it does not harm the GFCI outlet if you push the reset even if not tripped.

Thanks all. I will check the GFCI in the bathroom. I know there is one there. That outlet in the bathroom does work. I will trip it and see what happens.

Ok.....now we’re getting somewhere.
If the bathroom outlet works, as you say, it’s beginning to sound like there may be an open in the wiring downstream from the GFCI outlet, to the outlets you report NOT working. That means, opening the bathroom outlet and testing with a meter. It’s not uncommon for wiring to fall open from the vibrations that RV units are subjected too, travelling down the highway l

YES... many reports of failed GFCI outlets failing and/or the wiring to the downstream outlets... the GFCI that they use in these RV's is just cheap anyway...
