Overhead light switch failure

First post, and I hate for it to be a "my so-and-so broke" message, but this problem isn't going to fix itself.

I have a 2011 Micro-Lite XLT 18RK. Great little camper, except the overhead lights are crap. I'be had it for a little over a year, so my warranty is gone. So far, the ceiling kitchen light switch has frozen and now the same has happened to the under-cabinet kitchen light. If this keeps up, I'm not you going to have any working lights.

Has anyone else this issue? Is FR aware that these lights are overheating and burning the ceiling?

Hey Kiowa,
Seeing your pic, we went out and took down a ceiling light that we had once left on for several days while trailer was in the yard. We didn't have the discoloration on the ceiling. Maybe we can tell the color is slightly different but it is close to the rest of the ceiling.
Sorry you are having a problem.
Guess you will be stuck to a replacement fixture of same footprint or go larger to cover the discoloration.
We are going to explore led replacement bulbs after seeing your pic. Thanks for sharing.

The switch in the bedroom lite stopped working but I did not have any ceiling damage.

Well, I'm thinking of going to LEDs to keep the temperatures down. Sadly, that doesn't help for the two that have thus far failed.

I was using the bulbs that came with the fixture, by the way.

I've got a few bubbled/melted lenses also.

I spoke to the dealership I bought it from, but they weren't a while lot of help.

I want to get the same fixture because of the shape if the burn mark. How can I do that? Is there any way to contact Forest River directly?

I have a Rockwood 8316 and have had to replace two switches so far. Both failed due to the heat. I hit eBay for 12v fixtures, used the switches from one to replace the two bad switches then used the fixture in one of the storage compartments.
