pinched tt wire with hitch.

While backing into our site last night I managed to pinch the tt wire with the hitch and fried the cord. Went to camping world and picked up new cord and wired into junction box. I have no brake lights or turn signals on tt. Running lights are on. Any idea what I need to look for?

Check for a blown fuse, probably under the hood, check your owners manual for fuse location

I'll check under the Hood. I did check the fuse panel inside the truck and didn't see anything. Turn signals and brake lights are working on my truck but not tt

Some trucks have a separate fuses for the trailer lights also make sure the ground wire was reconnected, a bad ground will prevent the lights from working
