plugged in camper no power

2007 40ft. Cherokee Wolfpack fifthwheel toy hauler. Went to plug in camper for first time this year to clean, no power what so ever, have power going to camper & in all cords, from where you plug camper in to the breaker panel none.... please help, worked fine when we shut it down last October, is it a converter issue?

Do the 110 volt AC outlets work. If so look to the disconnect switch and the converter. If not look to the breaker panel.

Have no power coming into the breaker panel from the main leads.

Do you have a surge protector? If so it may have sensed a problem and shut down the power entering the RV.

No surge protector, have power with battery. But none in the breaker panel

Is there an inline protector some where?

Do you have a generator and transfer switch? If so it could be your transfer switch. Otherwise if there is voltage at the plug and nothing at the panel...only place left to check is the plug and wire. You can take the cover off the junction box that connects the cord to the romex that goes to the panel.

Are you plugged into a GFI outlet? Is there power at the outlet (use an other electrical item to check)?

Ohmed out the wires, & there was contenuity, no generator.

So you have power on the shore power cable up to where it enters the RV, but not to the distribution panel? Is that correct?

Does the cable plug into the RV? If so you may have a bad connection in the plug mounted in the RV.

double check the neutral, there is usually a neutral problem when you have power (voltage) and still nothing works, check all connections and terminals, just a thought

Yes correct we have power on the shoreline up to where it enters the rv, but not to the distribution panel. Yes the cable plugs in to the rv. That would be great if thats the problem, that would be an easy fix.

We were thinking about a neutral problem also, but geez where to start on that..... just don't understand how nothing wrong all last summer, we winterized it. Then today, nice day, so decide to open it up to do a little cleaning, plug it in & nothing. Just irratating.

If you are certain you have power at the cord end where it plugs into the outside of the RV and you've ohmed out the wiring from there to the back of the distribution panel then I'd suspect a bad main breaker might be the problem. Maybe you can remove the breaker and do a continuity test on the breaker itself?

Might also suggest using an outlet checker to see if a wiring fault shows up in any of the circuitry. I'd turn all the breakers off except the main and one other and then work my way through testing each circuit separately.

Unplug the trailer, check the wiring behind the inlet. My neutral was loose from the factory. Tighten all connections.

I couldn't tell from your posts but make sure that you disconnect your battery first (if it's charged up and connected) before you start using fingers and tools on the service side of your panel. The 120V might be dead but the 12V probably isn't
