Power at camper main but nothing else until I hook up truck to camper
I'm plugged into my truck everything works. When I unhook truck no power in the camper. When I'm plugged into the house nothing works. Checked the main breaker in the camper panel has 120 volts, what should I check next?
Had a similar problem this past weekend. Check the converter. Mine is a silver box behind central vac in the basement of my fiver. I could be mounted on an interior wall behind your fuse box. My converter has two 35amp fuses. One was fried. Replaced it and everything fired back up again when plugged into shore power.
Not sure what you mean by 'everything" works? I'm assuming that since your hooked to your truck when you state "everything works", your saying all 12v items work? Right? If that's the case, when your plugged into 110v, your converter ( assuming you have a converter and not an inverter) should convert 110v to 12v and run the 12v items. Either your inverter is not working, or you have the trailer 12v "breaker" switch turned off. Mine is located on the tongue close to the propane tanks. Without knowing what rv you have, that's about all I can suggest with no further info!

That doesn't make sense.
The microwave is 110v AC only, not 12v DC.
Why is tv and outlets working but not microwave?
Can't just be a 12v issue.

Check those two big red 40a fuses near the smaller ones. I haven't had to deal with this exact issue. So am not sure what to look for, but I know there's fuses you can't usually see until you take things apart like you have here. Keep looking at those higher amperage fuses

Check the two 40 amps fuses to see if burnt. If these are burnt then most likely your battery is hooked backwards, if all OK then go check underneath trailer near tongue for a mini-breaker and press black button to reset....tat is a start.
