Power Issue

Ok let me try to explain this the best I can. First of all I have a 2004 Sierra 30RL 5th wheel. Now here we go when I am hooked to shore power in CG my AC running after a while with say the microwave running it kicks out the AC breaker. When I reset it it will run and after an hour or so it trips again. Could it be that the power at the pedestal be lower than it should be causing it to trip? I have an Elixer-60 power supply and the AC is on a 20 amp side of a 30/20 with the 30 being the main.

Next ? is can I up the breaker to maybe a 30/25 or not? Also I have a 15amp breaker that says Gen I guess it means generator ?? not sure but I do not have a generator so could I use it for the AC if I put in a 20 or 25amp breaker??

Thanks

Breakers go bad, try to replace it first. Also check your connection at the breaker and at the ac unit. I lose wire will cause heat which will trip your breaker. Most problems come out to be a weak breaker. I had a bad 20amp right out of the factory. Changed my breaker and have not had a problem since.

I would not trade out for a heavier breaker, the wiring and A/C unit are all rated for 20 amps. replacing with a heavier breaker will not protect the wiring and is against code. Almost like putting a penny in old fashioned screw in fuses. (really bad idea)
