Power issues.

Good evening all first time poster. A friend of mine has a 2008 Salem le she asked me to have a look at. Some of the power issues I fixed by simply resetting the gfi at the sink outside of the bathroom. Which fixed all the outlets and microwave. But it still has no interior lights the fridge light inside as well as the two on top do not work. And I haven’t been able to test the ac as she doesn’t have access to 30 amp shore power. I’ve checked all the fuses they seem good and all the breakers seems ok. The is one breaker I’m not sure what it does as when I turn it off nothing is apparent. Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you
Dylan

Interior lights are 12 volt so you need to look at your 12 volt system. The battery is the most likely problem and a good place to start.

That’s what I have been reading. She didn’t have the 12v battery hooked up at all, could that break the circuit and cause those things not to work? I could hear the converter humming away under the fridge somewhere as well.

The 12 volt system will work independently from the battery by power from a functioning converter. The battery is for storage of power and use when not on shore power.

The battery also acts as a booster when high amperage is required by such items as slide-outs and leveling jacks / stabilizers.
