Power Panel Not Working

We just purchased a 2017 30wfkss v lite and everything worked fine for a week. Then when we tried to put the slides out the bedroom slide went out but would not come back in. The living room slide would not go out. Called the dealer who sent a man to our house to check it out and he said that the power panel is bad and needs replaced. That was 3 weeks ago. If it takes them that long to ship a part I hope nothing big happens. This is our third RV and never had to wait like this. Is this normal with this company?

It's normal for some dealers to claim that it's normal.

It seems odd that the power distribution panel would be bad beyond repair. Unless he's talking about the slide controller. But you said that neither slide is working, so both controllers would have to be bad.

Something sounds fishy here.

Did he do anything to get the slide that was out back in?

Tried to manually crank it in but not working. The power panel lights up but nothing works. No water heater, lights ect. I tried cranking the front slide but it would only spin also. There is no resistance at all when cranking so they must be loose.

So, it sounds like you are actually talking about the panel, that has all the switches to the various slides. lights, etc in it. Is this correct?

Hmmm, that is kinda odd then. Many of the panels I have seen are just really places to hold individual switches, that control each item.

Yours could be different though, and I would hate to say otherwise without knowing for sure.

Picture of the 2017 power panel

It might look like the level lights are on but they are not.

Aaaah, your panel is different, and is not manual switches.... so yes, yours could be a faulty panel since it's an electronic panel.

All I can do is agree with WM. I see that the master is lit so it's at least getting power to it.

When manually cranking the slides, they move very very slowly. It take s a lot of cranks to move it any at all.

That panel looks complicated enough to be controlled by a microprocessor (computer). Like all computers, they sometimes end up in a fault state and require a "Reboot".

The dealer may have tried this, but if you disconnect the power to the panel for about 10 minutes, then restore the power, you will have rebooted the system. It cannot hurt, and it may be the simple fix.

Good luck.
