Radio reception

I recently purchased a Cherokee travel trailer, and too had bad radio reception. I checked a few things and found its a an issue with the coaxed cable from antenna. I just purchase a receiver antenna from best by for $40, and connected it with the antenna cable from radio. I now have excellent radio reception. It's an Insignia amplified radio antenna and it has a stand to sit on a shelf.

I had poor radio reception with my 9 inch wall mounted antenna. I bought an motorola to coax type-F adapter and connected it to the winegard tv antenna.

I had poor radio reception with my Jenson radio .. checked the wires and all seemed tight ... with all my Keystone stuff IF you turned on the TV antenna booster, little button w/ green light, the radio would have poor reception, BUT this FR has had so many reversed wiring issues, i turned on the TV antenna booster and low and behold i have VERY good radio reception .... go figure ... i am sure some will tell me that is not how a Keystone works, but i have had 5 different units ... 4 Passports and a Cougar 5er and they all worked opposite to this FR
