Rear tail lights and wiring

I had to remove my tail lights, last year for some repairs. My RV has (2) round 4-inch lights on each side. I am putting it back together. I used a voltmeter to figure out the wiring, because I didn't take good notes before disassembly. Is there a special way to wire the lights when you have 4 tail lights ? The left side works fine, but the right-side turn signal are out of sequence. The lights flash but not together. Thanks.

It always helps if you posted the year, make and model number of your RV. We don't even know whether it's a motorhome or trailer.

Moved thread from the General Tech and Repair section to the Electrical and Charging Systems sub-forum since the OP's questions are specific to that sub-forum.

Out of sequence…..that statement confuses me.
1. So, there’s 2 separate lights on each side?
2. Both left lights operate properly, both as running lights and turn signals?

The right lights…..one is bright, the other is dim? then they switch and the original bright light goes dim, and the original dim goes bright?

That would indicate the wrong wires to one lamp….swap them, or….
The bulb is forcefully inserted incorrectly and needs to be rotated 180 degrees.

Let us know.
