Remove this LED lens???

Has anyone removed the lens cover off this LED light fixture? The outer edge of the fixture seems to go over the lens and the fixture is screwed to the underside of cabinet, ceiling ect..
TIA

Thank you for your reply.
The bulbs are fine, I just need to get the lens off so I can clean the sawdust out of them.
Do you have this type of fixture and have you removed the lens?
Thanks.

If you look opposite of the switch there's a small dark area, that's the catch for the lens. (there's actually 5 of them). Stick a small flat screwdriver in there and gently pry it out and the rest of them will pop out.

Seems like nothing's really changed in the 22 years since I last bought an RV.

The Terry I bought in 1995 had just about every nook and cranny behind drawers, in refrigerator and furnace compartment, and every light fixture, full of sawdust.

My 30 day old Flagstaff Micro Lite 25 BDS has a new twist. Less sawdust but little Styrofoam beads EVERYWHERE!. First time I turned on the A/C it spewed beads. Looking into all of the overhead vents the openings looked like someone made them in the roof insulation with a sharpened spoon (and not that sharp either). I installed an Inverter for the TV and had to remove the Stereo. Looked into the compartment and there was another handful of styro beads along with sawdust and a few spare screws.

It looks like someone at the factory just went through the finished unit with an air hose and blew out whatever they saw on the counters, furniture, and floors. If they didn't see it I guess it didn't exist in their mind.

I now have a full day of cleaning out every hidden compartment just to finish their work.

FWIW, you'd think the Dealer would care a little more and clean up these spots prior to making delivery to the customer.

At least my dealer filled the water tank and checked the system for leaks. That's something I suppose.

Haha, our 2007 Rockwood did that when I first used the A/C. Guess the previous owners didn't use the a/c much......

Thanks Bama,
I picked at it a little last time I was at the trailer, didn't seem to want to pop out so I posted here. I figured the dark spots were the tabs, but did not want to break it.
Thanks again everyone for the responses, I will post a follow up next weekend.

LOL, no nothing has changed. I spent a couple days on and off, taking every vent and access panel off to vacuum the sawdust. I also had to remove the cutouts the factory left in every place they ran wires, pushing them out the door to fast to clean I guess.

I also tried to remove some of mine for the same reason. No success as I tried but was afraid of damaging the ceiling.

Same style light? Try what Bama suggested and let us know. I won't be able to go to my trailer until next weekend. I will post a follow up.

Follow up post

I finally was able to get back to the trailer for the weekend. I followed Bama's advice and the lens popped right out.
Thanks again for the replies.

Crunchman, have you taken your 25BDS to a scale, yet? I'm interested in the model but the manufacturer's specs suggest it's a bit light on the tongue. Is the tongue weight on yours between the recommended 10% to 15%? What is the total tongue weight, loaded?

Thanks

Sorry. I misdirected that question.

TitanMike, have you weighed your 25BDS at a truck scale? How heavy is the tongue, fully loaded? Is it the recommended 10% - 15% of total trailer weight? Does that weight include water in any of the tanks?

Thanks
