Replace Distribution Panel from 30 amp to 50 amp

Has anyone here completely rewired and replaced a 30 amp distribution panel with a 50 amp and if so, what did you do to successfully complete the modification?
So far we plan plan to remove the WF8955 30 amp power center and convertor that came installed in our tt and have ordered the Progressive Dynamic 4590 Power Control Center with the Inteli-Power converte.

We plan to remove the power input from 30 and replace with a 50 amp power inlet with twist lock plug, rewire using 6 awg wire from input to distribution panel, and then proceed to balance the load between the new two poles with the breakers. We naturally will plan to replace the power cord from 30 amp power supply cord with a 50 amp power cord leading to the tt.
I have studied the pictures that were posted showing how 50 amp panels distributed the power load to keep it balanced.
Is there something that I may be missing or is it a fairly straight forward replacement/reinstall? Any tips would be appreciated.
