Rockwood 2308 Tail Lights Not Working

I have a 1998/99 Rockwood 2308 pop up. A question regarding the tail lights.

When packing up from a recent camping trip I noticed I was not able to get the trailer blinkers or break lights to work. Since it was only a 90 minute trip back home, I just went ahead and towed it back without lights (and I think without brakes either??)

Once home, I hooked up my boat and verified that the boat trailer lights worked fine so no problem on the truck side.

So my question is, what are the possible causes for failure of the taillights on the trailer? The connector is one place to look of course. Are there other possible causes such as a fuse somewhere?

Thanks for any help!
