Routing wires off of the roof

I am planning on putting a 100 watt solar panel on the roof of my TT. It's primary purpose will be to charge my (2) T-105 6V batteries when the trailer is not in use. The panel would also supplement the 2 panels I deploy on the ground while camping. I was thinking of running the wires down through the refrigerator vent and then under the trailer to the battery box. Does anybody see a problem with this? Any other suggestions for how to route them?

That is one of the most common selections for running the cables.
