Salem FSX: the "Red key" connecting outside batt to RV

Hi all, I'm a new-ish with a 2022 Salem FSX 22' that is no longer communicating with the exterior batt. I've tested the batt, and it's at full. (The RV works just fine when connected via electric cable.) So, my next guess is there's something amiss with the exterior "Red key" turning the batt on, or else maybe it's a blown circuit inside. Any ideas on how to determine? PS: It's kind weird how the Red key shows only the "on" position but not the "off" position... PLEASE HELP!?

I'm not aware that Salems come with a factory battery disconnect switch unless a former owner installed one.

have you moved the 'red key' switch to the other position to see if that works.

does the red key come out of the switch? if it will come out the switch is set to not allow power to flow through it. if the key will not come out the switch is set to allow current to flow through it.

Red key... on the frame near battery IS the disconnect switch

if suspect it is not working properly... disconnect shorepower and solar

have someone INSIDE trailer to watch the lights
wiggle, push, pull and turn the switch
if the lights come on /off while you wiggle switch is faulty

If you are camping.... you can bypass the switch by simply putting all the wires on the same terminal (on back of switch)

I had to replace mine it was only 2 years old
bought a marine grade switch and mounted it in the pass through out of the weather
