Salem hemisphere 300bh. Please help with electrical issue

We had a salem for 13 years and We recently purchased a new Salem hemisphere 300BH. I plugged an electric skillet into the outlet by the refrigerator, the refrigerator and the outlet both quit working. This happened in our old camper to and we always checked the fuse the breaker box and the GFI and could always get it working. For this new camper we have checked the fuses, GFI and checked the breakers and it still doesn't work. We have left the breakers off for a while, but still doesn't work. 3 weeks later, still nothing. Does anybody have an idea of what we can do to fix this? We got it set up on our lake lot so we really don't Want to have to take it three hours back to camping world to have it checked out. Thank you

Look around for a GFI outlet (outlet with a couple small reset buttons on the front) and press the reset button. Many outlets can be connected in series to one GFI outlet.

I doubt there is a GFI behind the fridge, but check anyway. Also when you checked the breakers did you click them to the off position then back on again ? Sometimes when they are tripped they don't look like it.

I would turn off all breakers and 1 by 1 turn them on and check all outlets and devices that run off of ac power. Go 1 breaker at a time and see if any other outlets or appliances are also not working. This would include outside outlets, outdoor kitchens, and also since you stated it is a residential fridge do you have an inverter? If so have you checked that?

Thank you Dinostop, I will try that. What would I need to check on the inverter? This is our first camper with one.

My inverter has a fuse in it. Not sure if that would blow or cause an issue if on shore power if it was blown or not. Also not sure if the inverter is tied into a gfci as well or not. As for the breakers don't trust the factory labeling. Mine has a label for a washer and dryer but I opted out of that package when I ordered mine from the factory.

Is your whole unit not got electricity or is it just that one circuit? We have had it blow the campground electric pedestal box and the campground had to come out and replace the breaker in that box. Just a thought from an ignorant female.

Also, have you looked at every receptacle in and around the RV for GFCI's? Ours has one on the outside under the awning and one inside in the bath.

If that doesn't solve the problem, I'd start pulling the receptacles to see if there was a wire that came lose behind one of them. I've seen that happen before.

Do you have an outdoor kitchen with a gfi? I have gfi outlets inside and out.

We have checked in and around, when you say pull the receptacles and check the wires, do you mean behind the fuses or behind the breakers?

I meant the actual receptacles themselves. It wouldn't be a bad idea to look at the terminal screw on the breaker either as it could be loose.
