Shouldn't this work to parallel any brand of inverter generators together?

Maybe yes, maybe no.

Might want to contact the manufacturer of the generators you are wanting to "parallel".

Then again, if your inverter generator has provisions for parallel connection, why not use THEIR setup? Most are in the same price range.

This appears to be for a select number of Westinghouse units.

Read the questions on the link you provided. The manufacturer states multiple times that it is only to be used with specific models of Westinghouse generators.

Make sure the 2 generators are compatible. I tried a harbor freight with a honda 2000i the impedances were enough different that the harbor freight didn't hardly see any of the load. I did use the harbor freight parallel kit. https://www.harborfreight.com/rv-rea...tor-62564.html The cable you linked looks promising though.

I haven't purchased the generators yet. I'm leaning towards the Predators from Harbor Freight and if so I will definitely buy their parallel kit.

I did read all that, which is why I asked the question. Because just to my thinking (No I'm not an electrical engineer) this looks like it should work on most any matched set of inverter generator. Again I'm no expert which is why I asked here

Something will need to keep the 2 generators exactly in phase. Will most inverter generators automatically sync with another generator? Its possible but I doubt it. I suspect these generators must delay the output and look for a power source and sync to that if it is found.

I believe old style generators will sync together but you need to get them almost exact before connecting them together. No idea how you would pull that off.

You might want to check out Home Depot also. I bought 2 x 2500 watt Champions on sale for less than what I could get 2-2000 watt ones for from Harbor Freight. The Champions have more power and a 3 year warranty vs HF 90 days.They also have the matching Champion parallel kit.

I believe this cord would work with harbor freight or honda generators that is the generators I have fooled with. What I like about this product is that you get a 50 foot 10 gauge cord.
