Slide problems

Ok I have 2 slides one in bedroom and in the living in my 5er. Now the problem is when I have them extended fully and start to retract them the bedroom comes in first no problem, now the other comes in almost all the way and stops, its like the power just cuts off. I go the the panel check the breakers none broken so I go back to the switch and it comes the rest of the way in. I know the slides work on 12v so what could be going on here??

I wonder if there is a resettable circuit breaker?
But it still shouldn't be tripping the breaker, unless it is faulty and weak.

It should not trip a breaker as it is 12v should it????

I just went out and used the outside switch to run them in and out. As the slides were coming in the bedroom came in just fine as the other started in it came in about a foot and stopped. I noticed a clicking sound in the relay when it stopped so could it be the relay? It does it everytime at the same spot.

Yes. Our fifth has 12v breakers in behind the battery box in the front compartment. But I believe mine have to be reset by hand. I have heard others talk of breakers that reset automatically. I would have thought one of them would have posted something by now.
Anyone?

Here is a picture of what I am talking about. It only does it when you bring the slide in.

There aren't any breakers behind my battery box all I have is a couple of copper bars with the wires running from it with 2 inline fuses.

What if you bring the faulty slide in first? Does it stop at the same place or does the bedroom slide then stall? If the latter situation, maybe you have low power.

The bedroom slide always comes in first and goes out first it is not an option.

Have you lubricated the arms of the slide out? It sounds as if the slide is binding on something causing the relay to open. When the relay cools it allows you to move the slide. Plus there should be a switch that will allow you to bypass the bedroom slide and allow only the dining room slide to open.

The cylinder with the least resistance will move 1st,thus your bedroom like stated. Then your L/R slide. I would check your fluid level and the area where it is stoping 1 ft short. If you need fluid also check for a leak in the system. In regard to the slides moving independent by Your selection, very Few units are plumed that way, regardless of Price. Youroo!!

That is a reversing solenoid, not a breaker. The breaker has to be on one of the power feed lines going to one of the spade connectors. We use these solenoids for reversing direction on electric wenches.

There is an auto re-setting breaker under the copper bar you spoke of. My 365 did the exact same thing. You can test this by jumping the breaker after it has "popped", you'll have about 7-10 secs before it resets itself. If the slide starts working, you have a bad breaker. The last time I was out camping, I had to let the breaker reset about 10x's. The dealer installed a heavier breaker and all is well.

Ok I found the re setting breaker. My question is can the breaker be weak just on the reverse side and not while extending the slides? I have greased the slide rails but it still kicks out.
