slides.awning and remote control problems

I have a 2011 CC 36ckts, just replaced the battery and converter a couple weeks ago. Now the remote control, slides and awning will not work with the remote of the controls inside. I have a feeling it is a ground wire but I have no idea where to look, Can anyone help??

What kind of remote? Any wires still disconnected near the battery?

Narboza, the remote is Alta, and I put a new battery in a few weeks ago and believe everything is connected. What is strange everything worked great then one night turned the step light on, at first it was dim then died altogether. Checked the buld and it blew, put a new one in and nothing. Went to close awning and slides from the inside control panel and nothing. So the remote nor the inside controls work 12v devices.

The way my Alta is wired is such that it comes directly off the battery via some wiring junctions in a plastic box off to the side of my battery. It is the same box that holds the 100A and 80A circuit breakers for the hydraulic pump and the main fuse panel. If my Alta loses power, I cannot operate the outside light, awning, and slides. The inside buttons for those are wired through the Alta receiver in the overhead of my utility compartment. You can check and see if you have a similar setup. I found some of my wiring in that connection box loose from the factory. There are also fuses for those loads on the Alta receiver.

The set sounds similar however I dont see a junction box, just a jumble of wires next to the alta circuit board. there is a 30 amp fuse next to it but it looks good. The strange thing is that the overhead ceiling lights ib the cabin work and they are all 12v.

Also the main electric panel is inside the cabin across from the entrance door. I found no panel with breakers near the hydrolic pump.

The 12 volt lights come off the main fuse board inside so that still has power. Find the red wire going to the Alta box and trace it back to the battery. Check connections for tightness and for any fuse. My system has no supply fuse, but yours may.

You also trace the black wire from the Alta box to a good ground.
