Smart Shunt

I was wondering if you could install the smart shunt in the negative cable that runs to the charge controller? Thanks

You can put a smart shunt on any device or 12v appliance negative lead. It will simply tell you the current draw for the device.

If you install it on the negative lead of your batteries then it will tell you the full current going in and out of your batteries.
