Solar

Our 2018 3950tz is prewired for solar on the roof. Can I plug a 14w solar panel in there and assume it will keep my batteries topped off

A 14-watt solar panel is not going to charge those types of batteries, they're for charging your phone or tablet.

No for several reasons.
Prewired for solar generally means simply a connector on the roof ( or side) and a wire to the area near the battery. You should get a charge controller to connect between the panels and the battery. Also if you are trying to overcome the parasitic draw and charge the battery, you will need more than 14W. I would add a 100W panel. ( 50W min).

Installed 14w panel on the roof to keep batteries topped off. Doing this temporarily while it's up for sale. Plug and play, very simple and working great. Now when I show to possible buyer everything works.Click image for larger version
