Solar Question: Charging batteries during storage

Forum Newbie here, I currently have a class A and I keep the house batteries charged during storage using a 110 power cable hooked up to my house to a trickle charger to my batteries. Thinking of buying a Forester class c 2441DS. It has solar panels which I have never had. A couple of questions come to mind.

1. While battery disconnect is engaged are the solar panels still charging the house batteries?

2. If the solar panels only charge while battery disconnect is not engaged is it ok to store camper with battery disconnect not engaged or will this eventually drain the batteries?

I have 305 watts of solar on my roof and connected directly to the batterys via a controller. I just park it and don't turn the disconnect off. Have not killed the batterys yet from loss, since there isn't any. Even have it setup to keep the chassis battery charged. Where I keep it, as long as its sunny, it charges most of the day.
