Solar to charge the batteries

I have a 2020 rock wood ultralight 2608bs. I came into a 200 watt goal zero briefcase panel. Has anyone used this to just charge the battery. It has a different plug that doesn’t fit what is on the camper already. Do I need an adapter cable only? Or a charging controller with a cable to the 12 volt plug.

You are going to need a charging controller to the plug. All the plug on the RV does is connect straight to the battery(ies).

Does the briefcase panel come with a controller? Many do.
