Your bulbs are under covers (or should be). Unless you're planning on submerging the RV, it's probably not going to be an issue as long as you're using automotive bulbs.
I have converted two campers to LED and always used just a regular automotive bulb.
I did find thelat they're not all the same. I don't like the ones that basically have a wire wrapped around the end as the contact/lead. The ones that have copper/tin contacts on the board are much better.
This is what I used for my last set on the exterior. They make them in both Amber and Red.

I've only ever had to replace one so the quality is good. I also use them on my truck.
The red ones work best under a red lens and the Amber work best under an Amber lens. The clear ones work too but they give the colored lens a washed out appearance.
For the big bulbs, LASFIT is a great bulb.
