Stabilizer switch, ping?

The retract side of the rear power stabilizer switch on my Salem makes a ping sound when I press it, and the jack doesn't move.
It's a Lippert system, and the remote will operate the Jack retract and extend.

Is there an internal breaker in these switches? Or do you think it's just broked?

Sounds broken.
Have you removed the switch and tested power with a multimeter?

There is an automatic reset circuit on the stabilizer, and it will ping when it trips. It is possible there is a direct short in the manual switch that immediately trips the breaker when depressed. It then resets after a short wait.

That's what I was thinking, but I wanted another opinion to confirm. Out of warranty by a few months, but I think I'll talk to the dealer. Had problems with it under warrenty.
