Step lights

2002 Wildwood 30bhss, has a light a steps back in behind. Gets power from switch inside for porch light and has a switch on it. Getting good voltage at switch on light assembly and voltage at light socket. Made sure the 1141 bulb is good with one from another light fixture.
Any ideas as what is causing the light not to work
Thanks for any help with this

if you got voltage at the socket, then you had to lose ground...correct?

That's what I wasn't sure of, grounding of the fixture to the camper? It's attached to the frame under the steps.

No luck with grounding, may just be a bad light fixture, I will look into ordering a new one.
