Surge - TRC or PI

Been reading the threads on surge devices and have pretty much decided I need one. My question is: What's the consensus...TRC from Clearwater, FL or PI from NC? I need a 50A and would prefer a portable due to access of the power port in the fiver (does PI even make a 50A portable?). I'm leaning towards the TRC 50A portable unless there is compelling info from the forum as to another brand. Users...What say? Thanks.

Interesting thread. I tried to buy a portable one at a local dealer and they won't sell them as they are not CSA or Ontario Hydro approved.

Only internal ones are.
