Switch for Landing Gear

The switch for my 2015 Wildcat 327 ck landing gear failed while I was traveling in Louisiana last week. I was able, with the help of my brother in law and an RV neighbor, to direct wire it and get it to go up and down.
How do I buy a new switch? Do I got through Camping World, the dealer that sold the RV to me? Or can I go directly to Forest River and get the switch? Thank you for you assistance.

I actually bought one from Oreilly's auto parts for mine I took the old switch with me and found one in their electrical section.

I bought the last one I replaced for a friend off Ebay worked great.

Right! And if you're looking for an exact match, try this.

Do a Google search for 12v switch. Then click "Images" at the top. Scroll until you find one that looks like yours. Click the image, visit its page, and get the part number. Then search for that part number in Amazon, eBay, and Google.

For all my RV parts, I go to Amazon and have had great luck finding what I need. As mentioned, many times I use their pictures and magnify them to see if it is the part I need. My wife appreciates the points she earns when I buy something

Be sure to buy two. Those cheap Chinese switches just dont like the 30A that surge thru them every time you move the landing gear. There are solutions, but its not cheap. However it is a once and done project. Heavy dity reversing relay will run you about a hundred dollars. Then you can use a cheap 5 dollar toggle switch. As a side benefit you can instal an up limit switch to prevent over travel.

I'm surprised that a switch was the only thing that went bad while traveling on Louisiana roads. They're brutal...pound your rig to death.
