Testing 12V

Testing out 5TT in driveway for boondocking. WFCO WF-5110R inverter whizzing away- normally noisey? Told only res fridge is all inverter supports. So far, fridge, radio, USB plugs and recliners pulling juice. Guess those are perks but I want to figure out how to add/remove items. BTW dealer battery still in unit soon to be replaced.

I'm going to guess that the USB plugs and radio are using 12 volt power directly and your recliner is the only other item drawing inverter power.

Are other 120 Volt outlets "live" when not on shore power?

If so the best way to avoid extra power draw is to just not plug things into them when not on shore power.

With a residential refrigerator a good power saving method is to only access it when absolutely necessary and then get everything out at one time that will be needed for things like meal prep. Then put it all back at one time so door opening is minimized.

Constant opening and closing will guarantee the refrigerator will run longer and use more battery.

Think of the battery like boondockers do with their water tanks. Only use what's needed, when needed, and "don't let the faucet run".

Outlets don't work unless on shorepower.
So, inverter noise is normal?I

All questions answered. Read WFCO manual, restarted inverter to see LOW battery setting. Battery was at 10.49v. Lessons learned - dealer battery didn`t last 4 hours with only fridge, USB, radio and recliners drawing juice. Monitor panel display 2/3 not correct.

Next, start over with new battery.
