Timer Elimination Courtesy Lights

Have a 2016 GT3....

Replaced the Courtesy LIGHTS behind (next to and above) the driver and passenger seats.... with an on off switch, adjustable LED reading light.*

**** How do I find and remove the timer from the circuit so the light does not automatically turn off by itself, while I am reading?

It might be easier to run new wires to an unswitched accessory power connection.
