sorry guys no photos, I just go in like a pit bull didn't think about it. the good news everything is up and running, lights, mircowave, refer, heater and radio also all 110v recepticals. converter must be working also. the bad news is the cabinet that houses the panel is not as sturdy as it used to be.
The cause to all the problems: junction box at the end of shore power had a meltdown, two wire nuts had no plastic left and about 4 inches of 110v hot melted to ground causing a hot ground and tripping the gfci, ( so everyone should not bypass gfci for this very reason.)
it's been up and running now for about 15 minutes and have not heard the fan in converter yet, but I guess I wouldn't untill it gets hot, I will be getting a new battery today as soon as I clean up my mess, and will be upgrading the converter in the very near future.
what a load this is off my mind, thanks for all the input.
