Truck wiring for Orion XS 12V 50A DC-DC

I am wiring my truck to operate my Orion XS at full 50A. Running 2 ga cable from the battery to the Anderson connector in the bed of the truck. 15 ft run. Do I need to run a positive and negative cable to the Anderson or can I just frame ground the negative from the Anderson connector?

I am running positive and negative from the Anderson to the Orion XS, so that isn't an issue.

On my old truck I used the frame ground on truck for my Orion. Worked fine. I made sure I connected to frame itself, not just a body panel. Also, make sure to scrape or sand all paint from frame at contact point. Can paint connection after connection has been securely made to prevent corrosion.

Finally got around to properly installing my Orion XS. I just frame grounded it and results are spot on with predictions for voltage drop. The 2 ga Anderson connector is huge. I always wanted my 7 pin in the bed so I just installed that and mounted the Anderson with it. Win win. Have some split loom on the way to wrap the 7 pin and Anderson cables. Now I need another project. Maybe I'll go camping.
