TT Batery vs Powerpack

As anybody used a battery powerpack with their TT? Since we still have some pretty cold nights here, I was wondering if a powerpack would work with my trailer. The reason for using a pack is that we still have some cold nights so I don't want to put my battery back in just yet.

Has anybody tried this?

I can't imagine a power pack providing much before its depleted. What kind were you considering?

Unless I misunderstood your concern, cold temps are not much of an issue for a fully charged battery.

Thanks. I haven't tried it yet so I'm not sure how long it would last. It's an xpower pack.

My concern with putting my battery back in my trailer is that it may freeze but, I would like to start organizing and packing my trailer.

I don't think that you can freeze a battery.
Auto/truck batteries sit out in the cold and start fine in the morning

A battery in fact will freeze if it's discharged and not recharged.
But it would have to be below freezing for several days.

I think you're fine to begin organizing and you won't freeze your battery unless it's discharged. FWIW a fully charged battery could freeze at neg 92F and a battery discharged 40 percent could freeze at neg 16F. So it's possible under extreme conditions, but just keep it charged and you will be fine using it now.

The xpower 1500 is basically a 51Ah AGM with an inverter and outlets so could help you in a pinch or if you wanted to run the micro for a bit.

Thanks. That info helps. My battery is just about fully charged so I'll just throw that in.
