turn signal,blowing fuse

start engine, turn signal fuse blows

Is fuse all black inside with most of the material gone ? = Dead Short.

Fuse clear and a small melted portion of the fuse material = Overload / overheated.

Those are two of the norm's you'll see with fuses....not always, but usually.
