I'm so glad we don't have to pay for it here ......yet
Check it out - a LOT of CGs (Nationwide) have a different fee schedule for 30AMP and 50AMP - nominal but different - 50AMP is usually $4-8/day more expensive.

And, if you full-time, a lot of the Snowbird CGs actually meter your electricity if you are there for several months.

Just some food for thought:
A 50 amp RV outlet is a 220v single phase supply. While it is a single phase it has 2 legs that are often referred to as separate phases for easy of understanding. A 30 amp RV outlet is 110v single phase supply. Depending on your coach or trailer and the appliances inside you may cause more harm than good by using 2 30 amp feeds. It is possible they would be fed on the same leg and not provide a 220v supply. This can become an issue with a shared neutral service, like in a 50 amp RV installation in your coach or trailer.

I know of no common R/V's that have 240v appliances, everything is 120v.
The R/V is wired in such a manner that nothing uses 240v.
That's why the dogbone adapters (from 50 to 30) which tie both legs of the 50 amp service together to feed off a 30 amp service will work.

I believe they think you will be using the 30A _or_ the 20A, not both.

I agree but my post is not about 240v appliances. It is about a shared neutral.
