Using portable solar panel with factory installed solar panel

I am a newbie owner of a Surveyor 19BHLE. It has a wimpy 80W solar panel installed on the roof. I also own a 100W portable panel with a Renogy solar charger/controller.

Is there any reason why I can't connect the portable system to the battery along with the installed solar system being connected?

Thanks

Ken

Absolutely no reason you can't.

Both will charge according to their ability and the battery's need. Since each have their own controller each will work independently and NO, there will be no "fighting" that will interfere with their outputs. A myth.
