What’s this mystery box?

Hello all,

I am 2nd owner and trying to understand what powers what and how to diagnose problems. So many ... always something. I heard there could be a small fuse panel for awning. I always saw this white plate against wall and just thought previous covered up an outlet or removed something. It’s hard to get to and I’m drilling and fighting to get this thing out however it seems stuck and doesn’t want to move. The hole when I removed the plate was like a size of a quarter but I could see something there. It’s located in me slideout corner in the far right side.

Thoughts?

I’m hoping it’s a fuse for my awning as it will not extend but does click when I push button.

It is a Romex splice that is ul listed to be inaccessible. That will be part of the 120 volt system. Definitely not a fuse. Any other splice has to be made in a junction box and accessible.

A lot of times the awning fuse is an inline fuse located behind the switch panel. pull the switch panel out and see whats there.

Thanks for the feedback. I will put the plate back over it. I have tested the back of where the switch is and the fuse in main box. The tornado the other day make my roof leak even more so I had to tarp almost all of it. I have a hard time getting to the wires for it because it’s closed.
