Tyoically in bathroom(s), near kitchen sinks (inside or out), and possibly a GFCI circuit breaker in the power distribution panel. Also check outside power outlet(s).
GFCI's are the biggest PITA with power systems. The logical place would be in the power panel using a circuit breaker. They cost more so everyone wants to use the receptacle mounted ones and then daisy chain other sockets off them.
They all fail sooner or later so cheaper wins out. If one trips in the power center it's a lot easier to find and reset. The cost of anxiety medication (or liquor) when getting worked up trying to find one often offsets any cost savings
