Where should I locate my new LiFepo4 compatible charger/converter?

When my trailer was new I replaced the stock battery for a 200ah AGM battery. At the same time, to charge the AGM, I installed a Progressive Dynamics charger (45 amp, with charger wizard) adjacent to the the stock converter/charger/breaker box The location for that set up is at the rear of my 5th wheel, in the rear kitchen area. Now I want to move on to a lithium battery. A 460ah lithium is scheduled to be delivered the first week in July. Yesterday my new lithium compatible charger/converter was delivered. It's also a Progressive Dynamics but with 60 amps. I intended to just swap out the old PD and replace it with the new one in the same location. Now I've noticed quite a few solar set ups that have the charger converter in the same compartment as the battery. Is that something I should consider doing, and why?

The secret to success is keeping the wire length between the converter/charger and the batteries to the shortest length as practical. The second approach is to use the largest gauge size wire and good connectors as possible.

The objective is to minimize the resistance, in the negative wire and the positive wire, between the converter/charger and the batteries. Length equals resistance. Clean and tight connections are a must. Properly applied wire terminals are another must. Sloppy work means sloppy or slow charging.
