Where to put Progressive Industries EMS-HW30C

I installed the same product in my Jayco and have a new one to put in place on my Forester.

Can anyone tell me the best place to put it?

I placed it in the junction box where the power cord connected. It was pretty simple. Now with the generator I am confused as to where it should go.

Questioning of putting it before the converter, which lies under the rear bed.

Any help greatly appreciated.

You want it before shore power. Generator should be after it. So that would be before the transfer switch.
