Which Onan Generator?

I've been shopping for a generator for my Nitro 30fqsl. I ordered it prewired and pre-plumbed for gasoline, but without a generator. Apparently it would come with an Onan 4000, but there are two Onan 4000 generators for RVs, both 4.0 KW rated and both in identical cases. My question is "Do I need the "Evap" model - which is $140.00 more or is the non-evap model OK? Electric Generators Direct sell both models for use in RV's but pushes the Evap model. What does Forest River install? I can't find anything online from the company that lists which generator they install.

I received an EVAP model on mine, from the factory.

I believe the EVAP series has more emission controls for more stringent regulations, such as California.
