if i had a dollar for every post i have seen with this problem.
from your post i am assuming that the batteries are not being charged when plugged into either shore power or generator power. i'm going to ignore the solar. and when i mention shore power it applies to both atual shore power and generator power.
there is a converter in you unit that uses shore por doeswer to produce 12 volt dc power that is sent to the batteries to recharge them. since your batteries are not getting this recharge there is something wrong between the converter and the batteries. there are many things that it could be. do you have a multimeter and are able to use it safely. things to check would be:
is the converter actually getting 120 shore power. it will be on a circuit breaker. check to see that it has not tripped. if the converter does not get shore power it will not produce 12 volt power.
converters normally have some uses within them, probably on the back, that are called reverse polarity fuses. they protect the converter for issues with the 12 volt cables going to the batteries. if these fuses are blown the converter will not put 12 volts out. you can pull the fuses and check them, measure the voltage at the 12 volt output terminals, or disconnect the batteries and then see if the converter will power the 12 volt lights.
you may have a battery disconnect switch in the cable from the converter to the batteries. this is used to disconnect the batteries. if they are disconnected the path from the converter to the batteries will be opened and current will not flow to the batteries to recharge them. if you have a disconnect switch check what position it is in. then turn it to the other position and see if that allows current to flow.
there is probably a 12 volt resettable circuit breaker in the battery cables very near the batteries. this may have tripped and needs to be reset.
of course there is always the possibility of a cable connection that has worked loose.
if it were me i would use the multimeter to check for 12 volt power coming out of the converter and then check it at each connection the cables make on their way from the converter to the batteries to see where it disappears.
hope this helps
