Your K2500 dash 2007+

If you have traction control? What is the color of the dash indicator when disabled. I keep seeing the indicator flash on my dash but truck does not have traction control.

Are your sure? If it is flashing, then you do have traction control. Mine flashes yellow (had this feature in a 2009 & 2014 Tahoe), and in the 2017 Silverado. Disabled, it shows a yellow swerving car with a circle and slash thru it.

You may have an issue with the Stabili-Track. Take it in and have some diagnostics run to find the problem.

Take it to a mechanic. Something is wrong.

I'm not sure if it is true for the 2500's but the stabilitrac is standard equipment on the 2014 and newer 1500's. I'm also not sure how long that this has been a standard feature. My indicator flashes orange when the system activates.

My '14 GMc Sierra has stabilitrack. The switch for it is below the A/C control panel. I leave it on all the time and I may have seen the little orange truck on skid marks twice. Both times were during heavy rain

If you PM me your VIN number I can tell you if it has any type of traction assist. It still shouldn't flash. Does anything else happen? If not, it may have a bad I/P Cluster.
