You are not limited to Zamp. You can connect most common suitcase type solar kits to the outlet on your trailer. Mine came with a pre-wired port for a Zamp setup but in reality it's just an SAE type 2 conductor connector. Amazon sells adapters to connect to many common solar kits and even adapters that reverse polarity if necessary.
The simplest way is to merely purchase an SAE connector from a local Auto Parts store, use a multimeter to check polarity of both solar panel output (with it in the sun) and connector on RV. Cut off any connector that doesn't match the RV mounted one and attach to solar kit wires with crimp on butt splice connectors. Make sure to match the polarity on both connectors of course.
Just cut in the middle and use the one that has the red wire as the Positive. $2.98 at Lowes.
