15" Wheels on New Fifth Wheel

Hi guys, I'm thinking about replacing our 6 year-old Wildcat Maxx 242RLX with a new fiver.

The Reflection 150 Series 260RD by Grand Design isn't a FR product but this forum has been my 'go to' place for good information, so thought I'd check for you considerable insight.

The 260RD comes with 15" aluminum wheels and Goodyear E-Rated tires. It's the size of the wheels / tires that concerns me. The Maxx has 16' wheels and is about the same size, both in the 1/2 ton category. The 260RD is a little lighter.

What are your thoughts?

I'm going to guess that trailer has vehicle certified 4200# axles. Those LRE 15" tires will provide more than 1400# of load capacity reserves when properly serviced to a cold 80 PSI.
