Anyone know what this part is?

Good morning!
We picked up our new Sunseeker 3170DS on Thursday. When we arrived home we were testing the levelers (which do not seem to be working properly) on our garage pad.
I was watching the rear levelers and all of a sudden Clink! and the part below hit the concrete. Can anyone tell me what it is? My husband went under and rolled around on a creeper and couldn't find where it goes. It has a nut soldered on one sode and is extruded on the other. number 12 110 is stamped on the flat.

Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to paste the picture in my message so I attached it as an image file. (I hope!)

B47, you are correct.
As new owners, I had no idea where to post so that someone could give me the correct answer. As it is a large part I need to find what it is to know if I can drive the RV without damage and safely or need it re-installed before any travel at all.
Just looking to be safe driving with my kids and not do any damage to a brand new Sunseeker.

You will certainly need to replace/reinstall the fastener, but since you have the part already, you just need to find where it came from.

Look in the area that the fastener dropped out from. It may be part of your stabilizer jack or leverling system compoment, Shouldn't be too difficult to locate and reinstall.

Thanks B47,

Our problem is that we can't see where it came from, nor can we find another part that matches it under the carriage. I am thinking that you are right re: part of levelers and the nut has to attach to something. I'm wondering if maybe the levelers have to be totally extended to see where it came from? They're not working properly so we hesitate to extend again without damage.

Those fasteners are widely used though out RV's. You are correct in thinking you probably have to extend your levelers and look at all their compontents, including where they attach to structure.

Did you happen to find the bolt?

Try sending a private message to member 'bclemens'. He represents Forest River's Class C MH's and should be able to get an answer for you. It would be helpful if can identify the general area that it fell from.
