[QUOTE=jonshonda;1525402]I edited the title and post. I was wrong to state I thought they were cupping. A more accurate description would be concave shape across the tread, vs convex.

I knew this question would come up and I know I will get grief for it , but I did in fact specifically ask the tech at the PDI if he knew the correct tire pressure and verified the tires were inflated to that pressure. He knew the max pressure and assured me he verified they were inflated to that pressure. I will have to check when I get home, the they "appear" to not be under inflated.

you may consider getting an air gauge prior to your trip home and verify what you got there.

You always run st tires at there max air. If they are D rated its 65psi, E rated 80psi never anything less.

What size & type tire? It looks like it might be bias tire.

Have you filed a complaint with NHTSA?

What pressure do you run?

What is the measured load on the axle when trailer is fully loaded?

With closer look and the info you provided I would classify the failure as a "Tread Separation" not a belt separation.

I would
File the warranty claim
Capture a few more pictures including the full DOT serial
File complaint with NHTSA
