CHF Does anyone remember the size wrench size of the bolts?

I don't want to have to slide under there and find I don't have the right size wrenches to apply the CHF.

Thanks,
Jim.

CHF = Cheap Handling Fix for the MH that are built on the f-53 chassis. It involves reconfiguring the front sway bar.

My guess is that the original poster is referring to the “Cheap Handling Fix” applicable to the Ford F53 motorhome chassis.

Wrench sizes

15mm and 18mm - I just did it and for sure those are the sizes. Also, a bottle jack or scissor jack is needed along with a mallet. If you’re doing the rear you will also need a hammer and a beefy screw driver.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I just checked and I have both sizes.

Jim.

Is the rear chf similar process as front? I did front several years ago. Do rears make as big a difference?

Did my rear CHF about a year after the fronts. Big difference in handling, wished I had done it earlier. Also thinking now it may be nice to have rear track bar as I find the toad tends to push the rear end around when going down hills.

Did the upgrade on the front and rear sway bars and a steering stabilizer just after purchase. Now drives down the road nicely, very little notice when semi passes going either way. But i really noticed a big difference after doing the CHF on the rear, wife even noticed the handling and she doesn't even drive it. Easy to do, just google it.
