Do know what the build date for those G614s are you may have gotten rather old tires at the 166.49 each price so they would not really be new.

If you find a great deal on an Amazon item you are looking for, don't hesitate. I have seen great deals, took a couple of minutes to discuss it with DW or did a comp, went to order and the price had doubled. What I do now is add it to the cart, then talk about it before finishing the order.

When I looked there was 1 left, I put it in my cart and made the purchase. Not bad for $175. with tax and free shipping. 1st question my better half asked was, "How old are they?" I will find out when it gets here. I am planning on upgrading my spare, which is still the Marathon on a steel wheel. I upgraded the 4 tires to the GY G614 last year after finding out I had the 110 psi rated wheels. Not sure what the rating is on the steel spare, for it doesn't have the air pressure rating on the back like the alum wheels.

Mine were shipped promptly with a projected Monday arrival. I immediately thought about the date code also. I read every question and review on Amazon and did not find one with reports of old dates.
I also ordered a new set of rims from trailer tires and wheels to match. Hi-spec series 09 6 lug HD 16x6.5 load rated at 3750# They included the hi pressure stems with the rims. Talk about quick these guys had a shipping notice an hour after ordering.
I already have Hi-spec series 11 rims but they are 3640# and 6" so I thought matching the new tires up to what GY recommends would be a good idea. Plus the cost of the rims was still cheaper then the tires at regular price so bonus I guess.

I'm surprised at this price and skeptical as well would those of you who have got these tires at this great price. Please let everyone know the build date on your tires you got. I for one would like to know if they are selling actual new or older dated tires. I just had 5 new Maxxis M8008 tires put on our 5th wheel yesterday at $157.00 per tire.

My set just arrived and all 4 have a date code of 4815. That's pretty new at this price... super pleased!
Printed the GY rebate form and it appears 20 bucks rebate per tire as well......
