Different Tire Question

I upgraded my tires from load range E to load range G, the G tires felt twice as heavy. So if I went to the cat scales my total weight of the RV would be increased .

Do the weight of your tires and rims reduce the total weight you can carry in your RV?

I don’t believe the tires would reduce your RV’s CCC. They bear the weight and are not the weight being borne.

However, they do represent additional weight being pulled by your TV. I can’t imagine that they put you over the top, but that is possible.

GVWR is a limiter for vehicle total weight.

Pull your trailer on a set of scales and weigh just the trailer.
Take it somewhere and get all new wheels & tires installed.
Return to the same scales and reweigh. Subtract that weight from GVWR. The answer is your available cargo capacity.
